Honey Cherry Blossom Tea
Origin

Hunan Province, China

A gentle green tea from central China, light enough to let cherry and rose speak.

Region
Central China
Notes
Cherry and rose

Hunan lies in central China, south of the Yangtze and around Dongting Lake, where mist and moderate, humid air suit tender leaf. A delicate green tea makes a quiet base, light enough to let the sweet cherry and soft rose notes of this blend come forward.

Hunan is better known for other styles. Anhua’s tea culture is recorded from the Tang dynasty, and its dark tea became imperial tribute under the Ming. Junshan Island, in Dongting Lake, makes the famed yellow tea Junshan Yinzhen. Green tea is the lighter side of a province with deep tea roots.
